Vellum ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Data We Collect
We do not collect, store, or share any personal data.
Vellum is designed to be an offline-first, privacy-focused application. All of your data is stored locally on your device.
2. Local Data Storage
The following data is stored strictly on your device:
- Your "Reading List" (books you have marked as To Read, Reading, or Completed).
- Your personal notes and annotations.
- Downloaded EPUB files and cover images.
If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device.
3. Third-Party Services
Vellum connects to the Gutendex API (an interface for Project Gutenberg) solely to fetch book metadata (titles, authors, cover images) and download links.
We do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs.
